This year we will be presenting on suicide prevention with a follow up Q&A which will include town support staff. The 2019 results from the Lexington Youth Risk Behavior Survey show that about one out of six Lexington middle school students reported seriously considering suicide, and that when asked who has the most influence on decision making about stress and stress-management that parents/guardians rated significantly higher than any other listed role. We know that you as parents/guardians have a great deal of influence and we want to help empower you in helping your children.
