Please join the Estabrook Community and friends and family of Dr. Carol Berenson as we honor her memory and dedicate a memorial bench placed outside the kindergarten wing of Estabrook. 

           Saturday September 30, 2023 - 11 am - Estabrook Elementary School

As you may know, Carol lost her battle with Polycystic Kidney Disease (“PKD”) in September 2021. Carol was a loving wife to Shel, devoted mother and mother in law to Felicia and Matt, and a doting grandmother to Charlotte. She was an amazing educator who devoted almost 50 years to teaching the children of Lexington, first at the Munroe School, then at Lexington High School and ultimately at Estabrook Elementary where she was for 35  years. Had it not been for her illness, I am certain she would still be making a positive impact on a classroom full of five and six year olds. Carol found joy in every child who was lucky enough to be in her presence and was a wise guide for the countless caregivers who she welcomed with a twinkle in her eye and her trademark smile.

Please join us in celebrating her life and her tremendous contributions to Lexington, to the Lexington Public School System, and to the Estabrook community.
